Full loft woodworm treatment

Project Summary

Treatment in roof areas will involve covering open water tanks to protect them from

preservative area, trimming away insect riddled frass as necessary and removing bore and other surface dust. Any rotten timber ceiling joists that can’t be treated will have to be replaced.


All existing loft insulation will have to be taken up and bag then removed before any of these works are carried out. Vacuuming to be carried out, followed by pressure spray application of insecticidal fluid to all accessible timbers.


And applying woodworm paste to the more affected areas the treatment eradicates the infestation and prevents further attacks treatment is guaranteed for 10 years.


When woodworm spraying chemical is dry new insulation can be fitted back into loft.
